Image Quality Tips
Use Good Lighting
Natural daylight or bright indoor lighting. Avoid harsh shadows or dark corners.
Product Should Be Clear & Focused
No blur, no pixelation. Make sure your product is sharp and in focus.
Minimal Background Clutter
Simple background works best. Lume removes it automatically, but cleaner = better results.
Product Fills the Frame
Don't leave too much empty space. Product should occupy most of the image.
Straight-On Angle
Eye-level or slightly above works best. Avoid extreme angles or distortion.
What to Avoid
Blurry or Out-of-Focus Images
AI cannot add detail that isn't there
Very Low Resolution
Minimum 800px recommended; smaller images produce poor results
Complex Transparent Items
Glass, water, smoke—challenging for AI background removal
Product Too Small in Frame
If product is <20% of image, results may be inconsistent
Heavily Edited or Filtered
Upload original photos—no Instagram filters or heavy edits
